Top Level Domain

Here is a list of top level domains that are often used:

• .com   : This is the top level domain of the most commonly used and probably the most well known. Most ordinary people if not using the 'com' is less steady. Thinking is wrong, because the average internet visitor beginners only know the 'com'.

• .org     : Abbreviation of the organization. Target users are the organization.

• .edu    : Abbreviation of education. Target users are educational institutions. But for some reason, this domain have now is hard to come by. When this 'edu' is managed by a single institution in America. Terms for obtaining this domain is very difficult.

• .biz      : Abbreviation of the business. From the name, you can already guess that this domain is used for commercial companies.

There are very many domains other than those mentioned above. In addition, each country also has a domain that shows the name of the country. For example, Indonesia (because I am from Indonesia) have domain names ending with the characteristic of the id. Some example:

• .co.id      :  Abbreviation of corporate Indonesia. The target is a commercial enterprise. Terms to obtain a domain with co.id not easy. You must have a TIN, trade license, and etc..
